As
you know, grade 3 and 6 students in Ontario take the
EQAO assessment of Reading, Writing and Mathematics
in May or June of each year. The assessments are administered
in the classroom in six one hundred minute blocks.
Although we try to make up tests missed
due to student absences, we ask that you avoid scheduling
non-emergency medical, dental and other appointments
or holidays on test days. Please ensure your child gets
a good night’s rest and eats a healthy breakfast
before attending school.
EQAO test results are used for school
improvement planning purposes to enhance the quality
of educational programming provided for our students.
